Govindas is a unique holistic centre which incorporates an evening dining vegetarian restaurant attached to which is the worlds most unique cinema where patrons watch films in heavenly comfort while lying down on luxurious floor cushions and double beds.

The centre also incorporates a yoga/meditation space (The Lotus Room), natural therapy rooms, and a beautiful gift/fashion store called Lotus Pod. The Lotus Room is a serene and tranquil space featuring polished wooden floors, ancient Indian temple doors and a cascading wall of water. In the Lotus Room we offer (1) Meditation Courses. The focus of this four week course is to awaken the seven chakras which are the major centres of spiritual power within the body.

We teach the art of meditation and tantra that the yogis have been practicing for thousands of years. Vinyasa (dynamic flow ) hatha yoga. Kirtan (yoga chants) every saturday and sunday night. Kirtan is a participatory music experience of sacred mantras and devotional chants performed in a call and response style which involves the audience in the performance. Vegetarian Cooking Courses.

The courses are guided by Ayurveda, India?s ?science of life?, which teaches that correct eating habits are the foundation of health. Students are taught the basic principles of Ayurvedic thought, and how to tailor food choices to one?s individual constitution.

We also offer philosophy courses on the ancient Vedic teachings such as the Bhagavad-Gita which is universally renowned as India's jewel of spiritual wisdom It providing a definitive guide to the science of self-realisation. Classical Indian concerts are regularly staged along with music workshops and classes conducted by the performers.
