The Arlington Center
The Arlington Center is a lovely, spacious setting for in-depth practice of yoga and meditation at all levels: classical, gentle, iyengar, kripalu, vinyasa, anusara, ashtanga and yoga for children and seniors, as well as insight meditation and metta.
Also, ayurveda, yogatherapy, retreats, vacations, workshops, and films. The Center?s director, Chip Hartranft, has offereded a powerful integration of yoga movement (asana) and mindfulness meditation (vipassana) since 1978 and offers weekly classes year-round, including weekly Buddhist meditation groups.
Chip is a physical therapist, university lecturer, and the acclaimed author of The Yoga-Sutra of Patanjali: a new translation with commentary (Shambhala, 2003). He leads a weeklong retreat, The Yoga Of Awakening, in Costa Rica every February
