Twenty years ago, while working in the international film and advertising industry, Nicole was drawn to yoga as a means of combating stress and a busy lifestyle. Initially practicing Iyengar yoga she was so uplifted with its ability to rejuvenate and envigorate she travelled to Pune in India to study with Mr. Iyengar and his family.

Returning from India, Nicole discovered Ashtanga yoga and was so enraptured she began a strict six day a week practice, also enrolling herself at the University of N.S.W where she attained a degree in Sports Science.

Nicole's passion for Ashtanga yoga asana and philosophy led her to study 3 year teacher training. She left her career in the workforce to pursue a life of learning, teaching and sharing her knowledge and passion for yoga.
