Fuelstart is a simple, easy to use search engine for home heating fuels & green energy. Their goal is to provide home owners with a simple way to find, compare and contact companies. Fuelstart offers fuel distributors as well as home owners the ability to post energy prices. Fuel distributors can post their company information and prices for free by creating an account. Home owners can share prices they've found to the general public through the price report forum.

Every winter the search for home heating fuels begins. Whether its oil, propane, wood, pellets or bio fuels its always a chore to find the best prices. For many home owners the only option is to wade through the yellow pages in hopes of finding a company that will deliver to their area and provide the services they need. Giancarlo Vivenzio and Ryan Finlay, the founders of Fuelstart, went through this process and found that an address and a phone number wasn't enough information to make a decision. So like all home owners they had to call several companies to gather more information.That's when they decided there had to be a better way. Home owners don't want to waste time calling around trying to find a company that best fits their needs.

The goal of Fuelstart is to give home fuel companies a low cost means of posting all of their business information on a site dedicated to home heating. This in turn gives their customers quicker access to prices, delivery schedules, contact information, etc without having to do the leg work themselves. Unfortunately with fuel prices going crazy its more important to shop around to find the best deals you can to save a few bucks. Fuelstart is working on building out a comprehensive database of all types of fuel companies and green distributors so home owners can have a one stop place to find any type of fuel they need.
