Owens Acres - Lavender & Herbs

Owens Acres uses sustainable growing methods and
specializes in lavender, herbs, flowers, vegetables, and
herb & flower based products. Located on 13 Acres in
Placerville, we're just half way between Sacramento and
South Lake Tahoe in the heart of California's gold country.

We are members of Community Alliance with Family
Farmers (CAFF). The CAFF's goal is to make it easier for
residents to find locally grown or raised food, and to
encourage consumers to support local farmers? markets,
CSAs, family farms and orchards, and businesses that serve
or sell locally grown products. We participate in Buy Fresh - Buy Local, and are members of the El Dorado County Farm Trails, Chamber of Commerce, and Certified Farmer's Market in Placerville. Consumption of local products uses less resources!

Our motto is "Pure and Simple Products from Nature" and we mean it! We are Certified Naturally Grown, we care about the environment and use sustainable and organic farming methods.

Owens Acres products include herb and flower soaps & teas, lotions, massage oils, healing salves, medicinal products, and products for babies and pets! These products can be purchased our own website or online at Local Harvest.

Our fresh produce is available seasonally at the Placerville Farmer's Market, May through October.

We reuse, recycle, and reduce waste. Our farm uses no chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, or agents. We tend our plants the old fashion way - by hand and hoe!
