SecondwindCPAP, LLC
SecondwindCPAP, LLC located in the prairie-lands of Southwestern, Minnesota specializing in recycling CPAP and BIPAP machines - a medical device used to treat both Obstructive and Neurologically based Sleep Apnea.
Our mission statement is simple: to acquire these machines through secondary market purchasing, recondition, clean, test, warranty, and resell to those individuals who could not otherwise afford it. This process keeps the (electromechanical) medical equipment, comprised of such materials as PVC, circuit boards, and rotary motors, out of landfills, and into the hands of those people who are forced to pay out of pocket for this [otherwise] expensive equipment.
The compliance rate for this type of therapy is poor - about 50%. This means that about half of the machines dispensed for use end up unused, and in many cases, discarded.
SecondwindCPAP believes in the importance of preserving our environment for future generations. We believe that in keeping these devices out of landfills, and recycled back into the community goes a long way in accomplishing that goal.
