Shoo-foo is a Canadian brand focusing on designing and manufacturing eco-friendly, yet sexy and comfortable home textile products for the modern consumer.



The Shoo-foo lifestyle was born out of my desire to create change. When I realized that approximately half a pound of chemicals were expelled into the environment for every single cotton t-shirt I was buying, I knew it was time to find a more eco-sustainable alternative.

In 2006, I read for the first time about bamboo textile. Being trained as a biologist, I realized immediately the eco-friendly quality bsmboo was bringing to the market. I decided to create Shoo-foo; a line of home linens made of 100% organic bamboo.

Bamboo textile was first developed in China. My knowledge of the Chinese language and my several years of life and business experience in China helped me finding the right business partners. Today, Shoo-foo is a Canadian brand focusing on designing and manufacturing eco-friendly, yet sexy and comfortable home textile products for the modern consumer.
