Wobabybasics produces and sells organic childrenswear for those who believe in the importance of dressing their children beautifully, and stylishly while taking care of the environment that we live in. Based in Shanghai, Wobabybasics is a wholly foreign-owned apparel company created in 2007 by a Canadian designer with two young children.

Wobabybasics strives to preserve a sustainable environment for the generations of tomorrow using organic or eco fabrics, ethical production and eco-efficient practices. No chemicals or synthetic pesticides are used in the certified organic cotton, creating incredibly soft, super absorbent yet breathable clothing.

The child himself, his needs and movements are always the basis for all Wobabybasics' designs. Our collection of 100% IMO certified organic cotton babybasics include bodysuits, t-shirts, rompers, kimono gowns and sleeping cocoons.

Wobabybasics clothes are modern with clean lines and "why didn't i think of that" details. Only low impact Oeko-Tex Standard 100 dyes are specified. Our handknit heirloom quality pieces are made of machine washable luxurious yak down yarns. The yak fiber is sourced directly from Tibetan herders, enabling them to earn a sustainable living while preserving their traditional lifestyle.

All our handknits are lovingly crafted by a women\'s cooperative in Northeast China, working in self--managed groups and making decisions as a democracy. Babies will love the lightness yet warmth of these amazingly soft garments. We know you and your baby will feel the difference.
