Cosmic Bobbins has always worked in the textile industry to create and promote eco-conscious wears, while maintaining the integrity of assisting workers in the textile industry. The handbags were another opportunity to put that vision into action and to assist people.

Parts of the bags are manufactured in The United States, while other portions are manufactured in Mexico. The manufactures of all of the bags go to support small businesses, in coordination with our company philosophy.

All of the manufactures in Mexico are made by a family, a privately owned and operated business venture that was able to be created in the artisan community. The sale of these bags goes to create financial business opportunities that did not exist for these individuals prior to their larger distribution.

We firmly believe that by working cross-culturally, that we are assisting a balance in helping those in areas where financial and business opportunities are not as accessible. By creating opportunities in Mexico, the family we provide work with, is grateful to have those opportunities in their own country, rather than only looking to relocate to The United States to find such work.
