Simple Peace produces reusable bags, blending style and sustainability. Our shopping bags are made of certified organic cotton, hemp and recycled or reclaimed natural canvas. Our Tigmi basket totes are hand woven by a Fair Trade artisan cooperative in Essouiara, Morocco.

These skilled artisans weave beautiful, sustainable, high quality totes bags from all natural materials. Carrying any of our bags helps the environment and the families that produce them. Peace be with you.Simple Peace is the brainchild of DeAnna Reposa who felt going green did not have to involve compromising quality and style. While on a mission to reduce her paper/plastic bag suburban shopping lifestyle, she first went to paper only. Then went to reusing paper bags that were kept in the back of her car. Then she bought every reusable canvas, fabric, polypropylene recycled product and wasn't yet satisfied. They were either too flimsy, the wrong size or were made of recycled plastic.

The more I learned about the environmental impacts of grocery shopping I became obsessed with not only buying organic foods but I also became obsessed making a great bag to bring it home in. A bag that was simple, beautiful, organic or sustainable. The name, Simple Peace, came from many Sunday masses with DeAnna's high school boyfriend. She loved the time during mass when you turn to your neighbor and wish them peace.
