Aldeia - Worlds Greenest Building is a cutting edge, green Developer. We only create top rated, certified green buildings and communities. Our Independence Station project in Oregon is slated to be the #1 highest rated certified green (LEED) building in the world.

Independence Station is a mixed-use building with residential, office and retail uses. The entire building operates on 100% renewable energy, primarily vegetable oil and the sun. We have exceeded the strict Oregon energy code by 74%. We are approximately 35% complete with construction now and expect completion of construction Summer '09.

We are looking for passionate, green-minded residential buyers who are willing to actively participate in this very high profile, international landmark building. Long term, open source energy studies will be conducted and we will look to break energy records each year.

Independence Station will be a virtual test bed/think tank for emerging green products and services.

Another project is our Aldeia at Water's Edge community in the Boise, ID area. We have enrolled in the new USGBC LEED-ND pilot program. LEED-ND (Neighborhood Development) is a new national standard for communities wherein the design is based upon the pedestrian as opposed to the automobile as typical in conventional subdivisions.
