"Practical-Green" is Thundercloud's approach to build durable, affordable, energy-efficient homes for Tribal entities in the southwest US.

Through an affiliation agreement with Energy Panel Systems Inc. (EPS)Thundercloud utilizes the latest advancement in Structural Insulated Panel technology widely known as SIPS panels.

Thundercloud Homes, a native american owned company, markets and provides customer services for EPS. Styrofoam and steel panels combine the highest energy saving insulation values with the ease of panelized construction to yield a simple, energy efficient structural wall system.

Panels are built using the details outlined in the 2003 IRC residential code for cold roll formed steel construction and fully comply with these guidelines. This eases the time constraints and the high cost of extensive custom engineering. With R-values ranging from 22 to over 40, EPS panels save consumers in energy costs during all seasons and in all regions of the world.

Panels are produced in assembly shops using patented technology and quality control standards that are the highest in the industry. This means immediate measurable cost-savings to homeowners that will pay off in competitive advantages such as:
