Steenbergs Organic

Steenbergs Organic specialises in organic and Fairtrade spices and teas. We offer over 350 organic herbs, spices, blends, curriesand flavoured sugars. We have a wide range of organic loose leaf tea - white, green, red and black, single estate (including five carrying the Fairtrade Mark) and two blended tea bags - organic Fairtrade peace tea (blended black every day tea) and organic Fairtrade green tea. Newly launched a range of organic (mostly Fairtrade) baking range in bright pink - the first organic Fairtrade vanilla extract, organic peppermint extract and organic rose water - as well as five organic Fairtrade flavoured sugars. We offer a wide range of gifts in our signature kraft boxes - many with recipe cards.

We were one of the first in Europe to be granted Fairtrade status for trading Fairtrde spices and launched the UK's first Fairtrade spice and spice range. We continue to increase our offer in Fairtrade spices and supply bulk as well as retail.

We source direct from producers and pack and blend in North Yorkshire, UK. As well as concentratrating on our impact on the environment - we carbon offset and review everything we do on a regular basis to see how we can improve our impact on the environment. The building we moved to in 2007 has many environmental features and we use recycled packaging, an ethical phone company and 100 % renewable energy.

We supply to consumers direct, retail outlets (a list of stockists is available on our website) and direct to food producers in bulk.
