Gaiam is a lifestyle media company that focuses on conscious solutions for personal transformation. The company was founded in Boulder, CO in 1988 with a focus on bringing healthy, green products to conscious consumers.

Known primarily for our award-winning yoga DVDs, Gaiam also has an extensive catalog of green living products, such as organic bedding and natural household cleaners. Gaiam is a combination of the words "Gaia" and "I am".

Gaia was known as "mother earth" on the Isle of Crete in ancient Greece 5,000 years ago by the Minoan civilization. This civilization valued education, art, science, recreation, and the environment and believed that the Earth was directly connected to its existence and daily life.

We believe in the connection between the health of our minds, bodies and our planet and endeavour to source products that are helathy for all three.
