Silk'N Weaves

Silk'n Weaves and we are working basically with Natural fibres such as Muga - The Golden Silk , Eri - Peace Silk , Jute , linen , Khadi - Hand Spun Cotton etc .

All made on handlooms from master craftsmen who have been weaving cloth in the traditional hand looms for generations in small villages in India.

Muga is the only silk in the world which is found in natural golden color and is only found in the small state of Assam in India , no where else in the world is this silk available. This silk in pure form (if not blended with other silks) is washable and with every wash the shine of the fabric increases.

Eri is also known as peace silk , because of the reason that in the process of making the silk the silk worms are not killed like in the other silk reeling/spinning processes. Hence it is the favored fabric for use by the monks.

It has excellent thermal properties (keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter). In our products we also use Vegetable dyes, Block printing, and embroidery.
