Energy Assessor provides Green Home Information Packs HIP's for when you sell your property and Energy Performance Certificates EPC's for landlords and the more environmentally aware. Your property's performance is rated in terms of the energy use persquare metre of floor area and the energy efficiency based on fuel costs and the environmental impact based on carbon dioxide ( CO2 ) emissions (your carbon footprint )

The energy efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of a home. The higher the rating the more energy efficient the home is and the lower the fuel bills will be . The environmental impact rating is a measure of the home's impact on the environment in terms of carbon emissions . The higher the rating the less impact it has on the environment.

You don't have to be moving to benefit from an Energy Assessment. The 5 page report will also give your current KWh/m2 use per year and your potential use if the recommendations in the report are followed and the same for your yearly carbon emissions per tonne .Also within the report the current costs for lighting , heating and hot water and potential costs .
