Centre for Human Ecology

The Centre for Human Ecology is an independent think-tank and action network. It brings together professionals, academics, activists and others to generate practical change and new thinking for ecological sustainability and social justice.

We offer courses which engage the head, heart and hand of people wanting to initiate effective, enduring change. Postgraduate degree in Human Ecology; and short courses in Action Research, Ecopsychology, Ethical Enterprise, Food Culture & Agri-Culture, Spiritual Activism and Sustaining Ecosystems. Offered through a partnership with the University of Strathclyde.

We also offers bespoke professional development and consultancy for organisations seeking to integrate and enhance social, environmental and economic performance to help shape a sustainable future. Clients include the Scottish Parliament and Traidcraft.
