The National Safety Council is a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization dedicated to protect life and promote health. Members include businesses, labour organizations, schools, public agencies, private groups and individuals.

Air Bag and Seat Belt Safety Campaign was the first to combine education with law enforcement mobilizations and advocacy of stronger laws.

This year, the Council began discussions with the World Health Organization to extend our mission to homes and communities through a partnership program, Safe Communities America.

International Forum on Traffic Records
and Highway Safety Systems and the International
Truck and Bus Symposium are designed to heighten discussions about the issues affecting
the commercial vehicle sector, research and
potential recommendations for government policies.
