Alpine Helen, the historic Sautee Nacoochi Valley, and Unicoi State Park are just over a half hour drive to the east. Enjoy horseback riding or go kayaking, canoeing, or tubing down the Etowah or Chestatee Rivers. Mountain bike on rugged trails or road bike on the same mountainous route used by professional racers.
