Rainbow River Safari Guyana Ltd
Using the 17,000 acres of unspoilt Tropical Rainforest our main aim is threefold, Conservation, Organic farming and Eco-tourism. Our attractions include two main waterfalls in a valley within the rainforest, two fresh water beaches, five miles of river front with three rapids , and miles of jungle trails.
All this is available to enable you to track the wildlife, check the flora, explore and study how the forest survives under such hard conditions, and also to give you a chance to relax and enjoy its treasures. The organic farming is to feed ourselves, the local community and at a later date export.
Our aim is to encourage the farmers back (from the bright lights of the city )into the farming way of life but without the risk. We the company take the risk and employ the farmers and their family. Eco-tourism helps to pay for their upkeep and provides an income as well as creative employment, and the cost of field research.
