Ngare Sero mountian lodge was built in 1905 on the foothills of Mt Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The lodge sits on 100 acres of colorful gardens, forest and a spring fed lake.

Many troops of colobus and skykes monkeys, along with 200 species of birds inhabit the forest. The lodge is powered by a hydro electric turbine dating back to the 1920's.

Many eco projects are sponcored by the lodge and guests such as plants for bio deseil, other indeginous tree planing projects and water projects. Ngare Sero has been family fun since 1970 and organises eco friendly luxury safaris and hosts international yoga instructors yearly.

Activities offered on site are horse back riding, massage, yoga, hiking and bird viewing are available on your doorstep....and much more.
