Kundalini is the consciousness held in the physical body. It is more commonly known as "the sleeping serpent" located at the base of the spine. A more accurate interpretation is the "coiled hair of the beloved".

Kundalini Yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) is a very dynamic and powerful yoga. Known as the "Mother of all Yoga", it encompasses Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing), Mantras (chanting/sound) and Mudras (hand positions).

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is also know as Kriya Yoga. This means that a specific series of one or more movements, breath or sounds will produce a specific result.
