People now are following green fabrics in their outfits. The eco-friendly fabrics are in much demand now as the clothes made out of this material are sold as hot cakes in the market.

Why the eco-friendly cloth is becoming so popular? Well the answer is very simple. The awareness regarding the actual cost of the clothing is growing and secondly many people are suffering with health related problems such as rashes, allergies, respiratory and concentration problems due to sensitivities of different chemicals used in the growth and manufacture of fabrics used to make customary clothing. A natural fiber like cotton, bamboo or hemp will be called eco-friendly when they are grown in a natural way without making use of any kind of pesticides in soil. 2. Organic cotton

Organic cotton makes no use of pesticides herbicides or insecticides at all and is grown naturally. To make the fabric completely eco-friendly the manufacturers make use of natural dyes to give color to the fabric. With this the manufacturers also reduce the amount of chemicals dumped into our ecosystem.

3. Soy silk

Soy silk is manufactured from the by-products obtained in the process of making tofu. The squeezed out fibers from the liquefied proteins are spun, and are used as other fibers. Natural dyes are receptive by the protein content, therefore giving different colors to the soy silk. This fabric is famous for its softness, comfort, luster and drape. It is very durable.

4. Bamboo

Bamboo is a grass with the property of renewability due to which it is counted as eco-friendly. The fabric made out of it is biodegradable. The antibacterial property of the plant makes the cloth made out of it, healthy.

It is an era where environmental concerns are steadily increasing. Green fashion is in trend now days. Recycled clothes and those made out of eco-friendly fabrics, will contribute, though in a small amount, to help relieve the environment of human waste but will also provide you with new trends and designs at a negligible cost. The creativity of fashion designer is getting inspired by the green movement and they are finding many eco-friendly fabrics for their ‘Haute couture’.
