Fairtrade bucks the trends & seems to be booming

It's good news that Fairtrade seems to be holding its own in terms of sales, as people seem to be remaining loyal to their Fairtrade purchases in the midst of our current "crunch".

Energy Saving

We are keeping a beady eye on fuel prices, as its an important factor in taking little personal steps towards fighting climate change. We hear that the price of wholesale gas has crashed. There are the 1st whispers that gas and electricity rates will get reduced in Spring 09.

If the prices does go down, we are asking everyone to think about using green suppliers. As Ofgem have reported recently that consumers aren't taking advantage of the different offerings, its always good practice to check out suppliers on a regular basis.

If you haven't changed your suppliers - do think about it - and do think about your committment to green energy. We are with a green energy package and we aren't finding it extra expensive. Additionally we know that insulation & draft exclusion sounds boring, but hey it can say you money. reduce your energy requirements & cut your emmissions.

We have reviewed the issues: check out Energy Savings Trust // Look at green energy suppliers and you may want to set yourselves up for domestic renewables.
